Our Facility

Cheaumont at Sage Hill Farm is conveniently located in Hunterdon County, New Jersey and is easily accessible from Route 78, Route 202, Route 31 and about one hour from NYC and Philadelphia. The farm is comprised of 65 rolling acres of beautiful pasture and woodlands, completely fenced and gated for safety.

The barn and arenas, which completed construction in June 2015, were designed with functionality, comfort and aesthetics in mind. Our main barn consists of thirty 12’x12’, matted stalls with a window, bright LED lighting, an incorporated fly system & two farrier stations.

The grooming area is entirely heated with 3 grooming bays, 2 heated wash stalls, bathroom & laundry room. Our client’s enjoy a tack room with heat & AC, private lockers as well as individual personal saddle & bridle racks. The cozy viewing room overlooks the indoor area complete with couches & dining tables, heat/AC, kitchenette, bathroom, wifi & cable television for those visiting or for rider’s to relax.

  • Our 150’ x 270’ outdoor ring is surrounded by rolling green pastures manicured daily in the Spring, Summer & Fall.

  • A garden gazebo for parents & friends to watch lessons or to enjoy a peaceful lunch.

  • Our 80’ x 220’ indoor arena is conveniently attached to the barn with a custom mix of european felt/sand footing, manicured daily.

  • We offer 21 turn out paddocks in a variety of sizes, including 18 on full grass & 3 medicinal with stone dust. all with high, safe fencing.

  • Our facility is full manicured for clients & horses to enjoy a pre or post ride trail walk around the farm.

  • Our main barn is bright & airy, designed for optimal air flow & ease for riders & horses, located next to the outdoor ring.

  • Our main barn consists of 30 stalls, all 12’×12’, matted with a window. The wide aisle way is completely matted.

  • Our wash bays include cold/hot water plus overhead radiant heaters for drying. In the summer, we have two outside wash areas as well.

  • Three grooming bays in our heated ready area include saddle racks for client convenience.

  • Our temperature controlled viewing room overlooks the indoor arena with couches, tables, chairs, cable TV, wifi & a kitchenette for visitors or for relaxing post ride.

  • A view of the indoor from our viewing lounge for families or for riders to relax post ride.

  • The client tack room is temperature controlled for comfort for all seasons & contains personal lockers, bridle & saddle racks & a tack cleaning station.
